Lauren Steadman MBE is one of Britain’s most celebrated Paralympians and paratriathletes. Born without her lower right forearm, Lauren first represented Great Britain in swimming before going on to achieve outstanding success in triathlon at the very highest level.
Her remarkable career includes Paralympic silver at Rio 2016, Paralympic gold at Tokyo 2020 and Paralympic bronze at Paris 2024, alongside multiple World and European titles. Throughout her journey, Lauren has inspired countless people through her resilience, determination and passion for sport.
As an ambassador of the Triathlon Trust, Lauren supports our mission to change lives through swim, bike and run, helping to champion the power of triathlon to create opportunity, build confidence and open up new possibilities for people and communities across the country.
