Patrick brings 18 years of experience in sports development and administration to his role at Triathlon Trust. He is currently a Board Member and Company Secretary of the Leeds Triathlon Centre. In partnership with the University of Leeds, Leeds Beckett University, Leeds City and Council, and British Triathlon, the organisation is working toward the lofty ambition of making Leeds an ‘international city of triathlon’.
Patrick became involved in triathlon in 2010, when he took part in a local super-sprint event as a friendly challenge. In 2022, he completed his first Ironman event in the Lake District. Triathlon has become an important part of his life – both as a participant and a volunteer. Patrick lives in Harrogate with his wife and two children. In 2012, he helped establish a local triathlon club, which expanded to include juniors a few years later. He continues to coach at the club on a weekly basis.
